Our Mission Statement
Our promise to you is to always deliver high quality results produced with methodologies that we custom tailor to the context of your underlying problem or question. Just as important as the result we deliver is how certain we are of that result. Thus, a full analysis of the uncertainty present in the methodology and the result is something you can always expect from us.
Consulting Services
We offer a range of traditional consulting services. For hydrogeophysical surveys these services include:
- Survey feasibility analysis
- Survey planning
- Survey logistics and management
- Data acquisition
- Data processing
- Inversion
We also can act as an independent data quality control to ensure that geophysical data collected by another company satisfies your project requirements. We also provide the following data related services for any project related to subsurface characterization:
- Existing data audit and gap analysis
- Ancillary data collection and processing
- Uncertainty quantification and assessment
AI-based Solutions
In addition to our traditional consulting services, we have a number of pre-built AI-based solutions on offer for classification, regression, or prediction problems. Before selling any AI-based solutions, we always start with a data audit in order to assess your current data gaps and determine if an AI-based solution to your problem is workable. If our existing solutions are not applicable to the problem you are facing, we can design a bespoke solution for you at an additional cost.
Estimation of the top of the saturated zone from resistivity data
During his PhD research Noah Dewar developed a methodology based on the assumption that there is some information in how the distribution of resistivity data acquired with geophysical methods changes with depth that can be used to estimate the depth to the top of the saturated zone. This methodology has since been applied to resistivity data acquired at several different study sites and resistivity data acquired with airborne and ground based electromagnetic geophysical methods.

Automatic geophysical data processing with convolutional neural networks
Our methodology is based off of the results published by Andersen et al., in 2015 but whereas they used a one-dimensional neural network we use two-dimensional images with convolutional neural networks to automatically process the geophysical data.

Digitization and classification of well logs
One of our popular services is the digitization and AI-based classification of lithology information from well completion reports. Our use of machine learning in the digitization and classification process allows us to rapidly process large datasets at competitive cost.
